Description
This full enameled cast iron tagine pot reproduces classic North African cooking craft, with an integrated matching cast iron conical lid and deep round pot base, delivering authentic slow-cooked one-pot meals for family daily cooking and ethnic cuisine making.
The uniquely layered tapered cast iron lid forms a closed internal steam circulation system. Steam generated by food rises along the sloped inner wall of the lid, then condenses and flows back into the pot base, locking the natural juice and aroma of meat, fruits and vegetables inside. No excessive water is required during cooking, which maximizes the original rich flavor of ingredients.
Made entirely of heavy solid cast iron, both pot base and conical lid possess excellent thermal mass and uniform heat distribution. It maintains stable low heat for long-time simmering of lamb, chicken, dried apricot, chickpea and spiced curries. The smooth glazed enamel interior removes tedious pre-seasoning maintenance, resists grease, food stains and odor absorption, enabling quick cleanup after meals.
The raised cylindrical grip on the top of the cast iron lid offers a stable holding point when lifting, and the dual ergonomic loop handles on the pot body support balanced transport of full hot cookware with oven mitts.
